Original door handles fail frequently because their electronics and microswitches are not protected against moisture. Once the housing leaks, water can get inside and damage the electronics.
We took a different approach. All electronics and microswitches in our module sit in a separate chamber, sealed with resin. Moisture cannot reach them.
